In spring 2022, I became the only writer at Better. In CRM, I wrote every email, tested new subject lines, new designs, and introduced Betty from Better, a friendly face for a tech-forward product. These emails reached millions of people with an average open rate of 35%.

During this time, I was allowed to hire one freelancer to help with our Weekly Newsletter, and hit the lottery when Bret Lawrence agreed to write our weekly newsletter, which went out to 3 million people every week with an average open rate of 39%.
